Ketuo Knife - Akimbo

The Ketuo Akimbo marks the first collaboration with August Originals, introducing a bold and deliberate take on the modern EDC platform. Defined by strong right angles and a restrained, cyberpunk design language, the Akimbo presents a clean, architectural profile that stands apart from conventional forms.

At the center is a reverse tanto harpoon blade crafted from M390, selected for its high edge retention, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. The blade geometry offers a reinforced tip for controlled piercing tasks while maintaining a capable cutting edge for daily use. Finish options include TiCN Blackwash and Bead Blast, each giving the knife a distinct visual character ranging from rugged to refined.

The handle is built from 6AL-4V titanium, available in brown and green configurations. The angular construction complements the blade design while providing a secure, structured grip in hand. A matching titanium pocket clip maintains material continuity and durability for everyday carry.

A frame lock mechanism delivers solid lockup and reliability, paired with a ceramic ball bearing pivot system for smooth, controlled deployment. The result is a knife that feels precise, intentional, and mechanically sound.
