The Battloid is a limited-edition showcase of mechanical artistry and overbuilt engineering, an unapologetically bold folding knife forged from the imagination of a designer deeply inspired by classic anime mecha and sci-fi cinema. Think Macross, Ghost in the Shell, Blade Runner, Aliens, and Akira—all distilled into a blade unlike anything else on the market.
Built with Rike and Ketuo’s removable integral shell frame design, the Battloid offers an industrially elegant structure that combines the strength of a fixed blade with the versatility of a folder. The addition of a third-position lock pin boosts rigidity when open or closed, giving this knife a feel and strength rarely seen in the world of pocket knives. The lock pin can also be secured in a recessed chamber at the base of the frame when not in use, doubling as a finger guard under heavy-duty conditions.
Aesthetically, the Battloid strikes a futuristic silhouette with deeply milled, cyberpunk-inspired body lines and a heavy-duty titanium frame. The standard model features a grey stonewashed base with gold Cerakote accents. Two special limited-run colorways expand the collection: a bronze frame with Mokume accents, and a black DLC frame enhanced with Zircuti accents, each elevating the design with unique metallurgical artistry.
The blade itself is a statement. Available in Bead Blast, DLC, and a two-tone Satin Belly/Mirror Top Fuller finish, it’s crafted for piercing precision. Its aggressive profile features a unique underbite tanto-style edge, a blend of Wharncliffe and modified tanto that delivers tactical performance with standout aesthetics.
With both reverse flick and flipper tab deployment options, the Battloid opens with authority and locks up with unshakable confidence. Each knife arrives in a collector’s hard case, complete with extra hardware, a signature polishing cloth, limited-edition collector's coin, and premium packaging worthy of its design pedigree.
